Hey there my people!!!!!
It's Tues. July 6th 2010. We've just celebrated the Fourth of July. We didn't do too much just kind of took it easy. How blessed we are to live in the country God has allowed us to be born in.
I start this blog off by talking about the trials we all will experience in life. God has never promised that we won't go through trials, only that He will give us tools along the way to be able to deal with them. Which brings me to James 1:2-4. If you don't know what it says, please look it up. But it has to do with how we are to handle trials when we come face to face with them. Well... I'll give you a little hint. We are supposed to count it all joy when we fall into various trials. What???? Joy????? Yeah, that's what James says. He was the half brother of our Lord and Savior, so I would imagine he should know. How could we possibly be able to count it all joy when we lose a loved one unexpectedly? It does say joy.
Faith and trust is where we go in the times of trials, and when I say faith and trust, I mean in Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of our faith. And I know how it can be in the midst of unbearable circumstances...we can't possibly see how it can get better, but as time goes on, and if and when we put our trust in Christ it will get better. And then you know what?? You will be able to help someone else at a later time that is going through the exact same thing. And that person may not even know Christ and you can take the opportunity to share your faith, and the love of God with that person.
And that now brings me to another scripture...Romans 8:28 which says, "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose." What an awesome God we have the priviledge to serve!!!
Thank you for reading and I hope and pray that God will richly bless you.
